From ClasicRockMagazine:
Classic Rock is proud to deliver the online premiere of Black Star Riders’ debut single Bound For Glory.
It’s the first track from the Thin Lizzy offshoot’s first album All Hell Breaks Loose, due out on May 27 via Nuclear Blast. After originally planning to record an album under Phil Lynott’s name they chose Black Star Riders as their new title and laid down the record with producer Kevin Shirley earlier this year.
Guitarist Scott Gorham says: “When it came time to pick one of these songs as a single, we had a really hard time. There are so many really great tracks here and everyone had their favourites.
“In the end we all agreed that Bound for Glory is the perfect choice and represents what Black Star Riders is all about.”
Frontman Ricky Warwick says of the track: “It’s a song for the lost but never lonely, walking tall in the face of everyday adversary - everyone has a story to tell, revolution begins in the mirror!”
